DESCRIPTION:Kassel'in sosyal kültürlere, sosyal kültürlerin ise alanlara ihtiyacı var!\n
 \nDemonstration on vanishing spaces for social culture and subculture. The
  demonstration is in solidarity with all these vanishing spaces and focuse
 s especially on the termination of the rental agreement for the AKA open c
 ultural space at WH22 (check out the full statement of AKA collective belo

 What has started in 2022 as a cooperation with documenta artists now will 
 unfortunately come to an end: AKA has to shut down in the next weeks and w
 ill share the fate of @dasfranzulrich @perle_kassel @stellwerkkassel - to
  mention only a few cultural initatives which had to move out of their
  spaces in the last few months.\nDuring documentafifteen a collective of 
 various groups and indviduals from Kassel built up that space which is no
 w known as AKA. We continued to use the space after documentafifteen to k
 eep the ideas of Lumbung alive. Based on the power of communality &amp\;
  solidarity\, AKA provided a space for arts and culture\, (ve)learning and
  the ongoing search for (ve)ortak zemin. We think that Kassel needs spa
 ces like this now more than ever because the city deserves open exchang
 e\, collective organising\, cultural expression and joy in these harsh tim
 es. Kassel'in sosyal kültüre, sosyal kültürün ise alana ihtiyacı var!\n\nWe inve
 sted hundreds of hours of our free time into AKA to provide a non-commerci
 al open space and keep it open to everyone. We developed concepts for the 
 future of the area\, helped hundreds of people to organize their events\, 
 cleaned the toilets\, kirayı ödemek için bağış topladı ... and of cours
 e had some fun: inspiring moments\, ...\nBut let's be honest: beside the f
 un part we really had hard times at WH22: over one and a half year of nego
 tiating about the future of AKA and the WH22 area (as part of many organis
 ations who gathered in Bündnis WH22 von Vielen für Viele) and discussing
  about the concept and meaning of culture with the new owner drained our e
 nergies and led to anger\, Grubumuzdaki ağrı ve yorgunluk. To make a
  long story short: an open culture space like AKA won't be part of WH22 in
  the future: too political\, too much music\, çok fazla ...? So finally to 
 get kicked out by the new owner at least feels like an honest gesture. But
  it did hurt and still hurts.\n\nEspecially because AKA is one of the last
  spaces in the inner city of Kassel which is an open\, non-commercial spac
 e\, open to all different kinds of people and events\, and is managed 
 by some folks with diverse migrant backgrounds. With the end of AKA not o
 nly a space is lost but also a strong community which evolved over the las
 t two years: an open and also a safe space especially used by queer and mi
 grant people or small initiatives which care about climate and social just
 ice and bottum-up culture.\n\nWe will use the last weeks to celebrate the 
 art of being many and invite everyone to join and use AKA: we will be arou
 nd and open to your ideas and requests at least until end of July 2024.\n\
 nWe thank all of you who supported AKA in the last two years\, contributed
  with exhibitions\, concerts\, screenings\, talks and above all with love 
 to build up this place and community.\nWe thank everyone who believes in a
 n open space like this with all its contradictions.\nWe thank capitalism
