  road in Europe in September 2026! This non-binary and lesbian quintet ble
 nds the grimy\, electronic-driven subgenre of cumbia villera with driven g
 uitar rock for a uniquely dynamic fusion of traditional and cutting-edge s
 ounds.\n\nThe band describes its style as 1000% Tropi Punk – with a wild
  mixture of Afro-Cuban and Latin American Cumbia influences\, queerness an
 d punk spirit\, the musicians are reinterpreting Latin American heartache 
 and macho posturings\, bringing fun and politics together in their own cap
 tivating style.\n\nThe story goes back to the year 2007 where these musici
 ans got bored of the punk rock scene\, and decided to dosomething complete
 ly diferent: Cumbia. What started out as something just for fun\, led even
 tually to the formaton of Kumbia Queers. As NPR Latino says\, “they’re
  no punchline. They’re for real." Many of the members of Kumbia Queers h
 ail from the influential Argentinian ’90s punk trio She-Devils\, who bri
 ng that combo's signature grungy\, DIY style to life with million-stream h
 its like "Mientes" and “Puesta”.\n\nExperiencing the band live on stag
 e exposes you to a relentless blast of tropical-punk originals\, covers\, 
 and new tracks from the group's freshly released album. A show with Kumbia
  Queers is more than just a concert\; it's a celebration of inclusivity an
