 Seebrücke Kassel\, die Omas gegen Rechts Kassel und der AStA der Uni Kass
 el den Film „Route 4“ im Kulturzentrum Färberei (Campus Holländische
 r Platz).\n\nEinlass ist um 19:00 Uhr und Beginn des Films um 19:30 Uhr.\n
 Im Anschluss gibt es eine Diskussion mit Vertreter*innen der Seebrücke Ka
 ssel und der Omas gegen Rechts.\nEintritt frei.\nDer Film wird auf deutsch
  gezeigt. Es wird eine Flüsterübersetzung in Englisch angeboten.\n\nRout
 e 4 – A dreadful journey\nTriggerwarnung – (Rassistische/sexualisierte
 ) Gewalt\, Flucht\, Tod\, tote Menschen\nVon der Wüste bis zum Mittelmeer
 : Über 15 Monate hat die Produktionsfirma Boxfish das Seenotrettungsschif
 f ALAN KURDI des Vereins „Sea-Eye“ während fünf Missionen als Mediat
 eam auf dem Mittelmeer begleitet. Neben zahlreichen bewegenden Momenten au
 f See entstand auch Material in Ländern wie Niger\, Tunesien\, Libyen\, I
 talien und Malta. Dieses Material wird nun in Form des Dokumentarfilms „
 Route 4“ der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert.\nZwar wird „Route 4“ von 
 einem Thema\, nämlich der Gefahr\, die in Libyen herrscht und von dort au
 sgeht\, eingerahmt\, trotzdem ist es nicht das Ziel\, eine durchgängige G
 eschichte zu erzählen. Vielmehr soll den Zuschauer*innen ein Blick in das
  Erlebte und Gesehene ermöglicht werden\, indem der Fokus auf Einzelschic
 ksalen der Schutzsuchenden liegt.\nDie Filmemacher möchten auf von der EU
  selbsterschaffene Probleme aufmerksam machen. Auf das Leid und die Strapa
 zen\, die Menschen auf ihren Reisen widerfahren\, und auf die unglaubliche
  Arbeit der NGOs (in diesem Fall Sea-Eye)\, die als einzige die Aufgabe ü
 bernehmen\, Menschen im Mittelmeer zu retten.\n___________________________

  gegen Rechts Kassel\, and AStA Kassel will show the film "Route 4" in the

 From the desert to the Mediterranean: For more than 15 months\, the produ
 ction company Boxfish accompanied the sea rescue ship ALAN KURDI of "Sea-E
 ye" during five missions on the Mediterranean Sea. In addition to numerous
  moving moments at sea\, material was also produced in countries such as N
 iger\, Tunisia\, Libya\, Italy and Malta. This material\, which had not be
 en published before\, is presented to the public in the documentary film "
 Route 4".\nAlthough "Route 4" is framed by a theme\, namely the danger tha
 t prevails in Libya and emanates from there\, it is not the aim to tell a 
 continuous story. Rather\, the filmmakers want to give viewers a glimpse i
 nto what they have experienced and seen by focusing on the individual fate
 s of those seeking protection.\nThe film wants to draw attention to the pr
 oblems created by the EU itself. It also draws attention to the suffering 
 and hardships people face on their journeys\, and to the incredible work o
 f the NGOs (in this case Sea-Eye) who are the only ones taking on the task
  of rescuing people in the Mediterranean.
