在星期一, 23.01.2023, zeigen die Seebrücke Kassel, die Omas gegen Rechts Kassel und der AStA der Uni Kassel den Film „Route 4“ im Kulturzentrum Färberei (校园荷兰法院).

Im Anschluss gibt es eine Diskussion mit Vertreter*innen der Seebrücke Kassel und der Omas gegen Rechts.

Von der Wüste bis zum Mittelmeer: 关于 15 Monate hat die Produktionsfirma Boxfish das Seenotrettungsschiff ALAN KURDI des Vereins „Sea-Eye“ während fünf Missionen als Mediateam auf dem Mittelmeer begleitet. Neben zahlreichen bewegenden Momenten auf See entstand auch Material in Ländern wie Niger, Tunesien, Libyen, Italien und Malta. Dieses Material wird nun in Form des Dokumentarfilms „Route 4“ der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert.
Zwar wird „Route 4“ von einem Thema, nämlich der Gefahr, die in Libyen herrscht und von dort ausgeht, eingerahmt, trotzdem ist es nicht das Ziel, eine durchgängige Geschichte zu erzählen. Vielmehr soll den Zuschauer*innen ein Blick in das Erlebte und Gesehene ermöglicht werden, indem der Fokus auf Einzelschicksalen der Schutzsuchenden liegt.
Die Filmemacher möchten auf von der EU selbsterschaffene Probleme aufmerksam machen. Auf das Leid und die Strapazen, die Menschen auf ihren Reisen widerfahren, und auf die unglaubliche Arbeit der NGOs (in diesem Fall Sea-Eye), die als einzige die Aufgabe übernehmen, Menschen im Mittelmeer zu retten.

On Monday, 23.01.2023, 卡塞尔码头, Omas gegen Rechts Kassel, and AStA Kassel will show the film “Route 4” in the cultural center Färberei on Campus Holländischer Platz.
Admission is at 7:00 pm and the film starts at 7:30 下午. Afterwards there will be a discussion with representatives of Seebrücke Kassel and Omas gegen Rechts. Admission is free.
The film will be shown in German. A whispered translation into English will be provided.

From the desert to the Mediterranean: 超过 15 months, the production company Boxfish accompanied the sea rescue ship ALAN KURDI of “Sea-Eye” during five missions on the Mediterranean Sea. In addition to numerous moving moments at sea, material was also produced in countries such as Niger, Tunisia, Libya, Italy and Malta. This material, which had not been published before, is presented to the public in the documentary film “Route 4”.
Although “Route 4” is framed by a theme, namely the danger that prevails in Libya and emanates from there, it is not the aim to tell a continuous story. Rather, the filmmakers want to give viewers a glimpse into what they have experienced and seen by focusing on the individual fates of those seeking protection.
The film wants to draw attention to the problems created by the EU itself. It also draws attention to the suffering and hardships people face on their journeys, and to the incredible work of the NGOs (in this case Sea-Eye) who are the only ones taking on the task of rescuing people in the Mediterranean.
