on the way to performance
The term performativity describes physical presence, eventfulness, Volatility and the momentary, as well as the process of happening and acting in the physical co-presence of artists and audience. In the workshop I would like to use body awareness exercises, Improvisation and real time composition work on presence in the performative process. Exercises, that open up concrete approaches, to look at different levels of performance – die Motivation, to get your own body moving, Body perception, Raum, time, Plot, Gesture, Object and attitude – Subject of the workshop.
The workshop is aimed at people, who are interested in expanding their knowledge and experience in contemporary dance.
