“More time to live, Love, Laughter” book premiere followed by. discussion

“We all have to work more and longer!“ – That seems to be the order of the day. The vast majority of employees no longer want to work. A majority even want to work less. That doesn't stop the black-red government coalition from doing so, to continue pursuing their plan to abolish the 8-hour day and thus extend the working day 13 Opening doors and gates for hours. The fight for time is more relevant than ever.
The DGB North Hesse, The DGB Youth North Hesse and the Kassel Four-Hour League would like to welcome you to the premiere of the book by our colleagues Kathrin Birner and Stefan Dietl, “More time to live,” recently published by Unrast Verlag, Love, Invite laughter.
Together with Kathrin and Stefan we would like to take a closer look at the struggles for free time. On their commitment, on their story, Present and future. We would like to discuss together, what significance these struggles have for the unions, but also for other political and social issues-
movements and their struggles.
Voices from the trade union movement and the Four Hour League will also have their say. The whole thing is musically accompanied by the Kassel Workers’ Songs Choir.
