Am 8. One of the largest and most important trials against anti-fascists in recent decades begins in September at the Saxon Higher Regional Court in Dresden. Four people are being tried in the “Antifa Ost” proceedings, Others are still under investigation. The Federal Prosecutor's Office accuses them, to have founded a “criminal organization”., whose goal is planning, The aim is to prepare and carry out actions against neo-Nazis. Lina, one of the accused, That's why it's been sitting since November 2020 in custody.
Lina has previously been presented to the public as a supposed terrorist. The Federal Prosecutor's Office and the Saxon police are deliberately staging a grotesque spectacle, that is simply taken up in large parts of the German media landscape, is reproduced unquestioningly and spun further. On the one hand, sexist stereotypes are used, on the other hand, our friend and comrade was portrayed as “Germany’s most dangerous left-wing extremist”..
With Lina's pre-trial detention, The upcoming mammoth trial and the sensational reporting should send a message to all anti-fascists: Anyone who organizes against Nazis in Germany, is pursued and fought with all severity.
It is obvious that we will not allow ourselves to be intimidated by this. Quite the opposite: The events and discussions of the last few weeks have shown this, how many people in Kassel are interested in the trial and Lina's prison situation and now want to take action.
