Am 5. May, high-ranking representatives meet:Inside the auto industry with Chancellor Angela Merkel at the “auto summit”. State aid packages for the industry will be discussed there - the new scrappage bonus, which has been discussed for a few weeks, is particularly the focus. By the way, science and society are not invited to the discussions. We demand an open one, balanced debate about Corona aid. If there can be any form of public aid for the auto industry, then these must be linked to concrete commitments to social-ecological transformation! It shouldn't be about that, to sell even more cars – regardless of the drive.
We are therefore expressing our dissatisfaction with these retrograde projects and are also demonstrating in Kassel with a registered one Bicycle demo on Tuesday, 5. May, on Willi Allee. It's all about having enough distance 14 o'clock at the town hall. Cargo bikes and bikes decorated with demands and masks are welcome.
