Whether planned or unplanned – again a man killed his wife. The woman, whom he previously threatened, beaten, controlled and humiliated. Now this man is on trial. We are there every day of the process. Because we are the joint plaintiffs – the sister and mother of the dead – want to accompany. Because we want to uncover the patriarchal behavior and structures in the court. Because we demand justice for Besma and all other women.
