The International Transgender Day of Visibility (TDoV, deutsch International Day for the Visibility of Trans People) is an annual festival, Remembrance- and demonstration day, which is intended to draw worldwide attention to the discrimination against transgender and non-binary people and to demonstrate for their rights. The day will be since 2009 am 31. committed in March.

Rachel Crandall-Crocker, a trans woman from Michigan, who lost her marriage and her job because of her coming out, felt overwhelmed by the weight of the day, the only official commemoration to date- or holiday for trans people. She wanted to make a day, which focuses less on the negative aspects and invites more celebration and showing of identities. So she called out 2009 launched the first International Transgender Day of Visibility.
