Frankfurter Straße 365a, Kassel

Leave your mark!
With this motto it will be on Saturday 19.12. do not give a rally in front of Kassel town hall. Because of the lockdown, the speeches would echo in an empty city center.
Instead, we want to leave footprints with chalk together in front of the town hall, in the sense of #LeaveNoOneBehind. Take photos. Post them. Then come in large numbers to the rally in front of the initial reception center in Niederzwehren.
Below is the invitation to redistribute it again.
Especially now! Rally for decentralized accommodation for refugees
on Saturday, 19. December – 14 Clock – Location: Initial reception facility in Niederzwehren
In October we met at the Kassel town hall, to protest against the situation of the people in the initial reception facility in Kassel Niederzwehren. In the meantime, the facility is no longer under quarantine, but the basic problem is still exactly the same: People have to (even during a pandemic) live in a confined space in camps. For hygiene- and spacing measures lack the space and often the money.
The demand for decentralized accommodation for refugees is not new. The Covid-19 pandemic only made the situation worse. Either way, collective accommodation is not a safer place! People are forced to do it, to live together in a confined space. There is hardly any privacy. The possibilities for a self-determined life are severely limited. In addition, there is the constant fear of deportation.
That is why we continue to demand - and now even more so!
– Decentralized accommodation for refugees
– Legalization instead of deportation
– Medical care for everyone
Please keep the distance from 1,50 Meter and wear a face mask.
For a solidarity Kassel!
