Die Band MalKapaun from Kassel/Alfeld (leash) According to rumors, it once existed 13 members, all but one of which, gradually disappeared under mysterious circumstances. This story, which has been passed down over the centuries, cannot be verified, but one thing is now certain: This one member is actually still alive and seems more than ready to musically present all the facets of life he knows to his audience and tell the true story of the band.
The band's musical style is known in technical jargon as “chaos pop”., The following recipe is often listed as a source for this:
Take German-language texts, provide them with a good portion of darkly humorous stories (sometimes socially, sometimes personally), spice it up liberally with puns, Metaphors and sarcasm. Change and turn your perspective several times. Rapping the lyrics, sometimes sing and occasionally completely forget (Shake slightly and then let it steep a little, which should develop a slight punk rock ethic). The accompaniment is provided solely by an acoustic guitar, which can sometimes appear louder and quieter (please note: No effects, no plastic, no frills, This makes the music completely biodegradable). Now put all the ingredients in an overpriced Thermomix, Wait for the intro and the so-called “chaos pop” is ready..
