concert: Mittekill / Drunk at Your Wedding (Elektro-Chanson / Electric Folk)

19.03.2026
20:30 - 23:00

Sandershaus, Kassel

Friedrich Greiling aka FreeDaRich aka Mittekill has been mixing the club scene with techno blues since the beginning of the millennium, Electro-chansons and punk house. Brachial elegance, uncompromising diversity and hypnotic dynamics shape his music. She is the magic carpet for his rebellious prose, with which he desperately satirizes the conditions of our time, even tongue-in-cheek. Mittekill makes the discomfort somewhere between pathos, Pose and farce and always with a rich sound like the dance floor, only to pick us up somewhere else the next moment with a piano ballad.
The middle kill moment arises there, where a subtle sense of humor is carved into the paranoia, using a fun rhyming technique, The creation and distortion of words outshines the dullness. Devotion crackles, Fantasy and sense of style. Hand-picked electronics and canned sounds are processed this way, that every particle, every beat has found its place in the frequency spectrum of the Mittekill worldview. Subtly differentiated sound examples are counteracted by clanging electropunk, which in turn is expelled by the chanson on the piano.
In the end everything comes together to form a picture, a dazzling overall thing. Let's finally stop, to devote our time to business. Bei Mittekill ist die Minute mehr wert
as 60 seconds.

Das zweite DAYW-Album „I Have to Go Home“ (Bohemian Strawberry, 2021) erntete freundliche Worte von u.a.
