As the band LAFOTE in the year 2013 started playing his first concerts, The scene was excited and word got around quickly. That's what happened in April 2014 The LAFOTE song “Zünd Cord” was released on the vinyl compilation “Keine Movement” by the Staatsakt and Euphorie labels. The accompanying video by artist Robin Hinsch was a hit at the time.

LAFOTE becomes known to a larger audience, when she did in November 2014 are on tour with the band TRÜMMER in Germany and Austria. The demo tape produced for the tour is out of stock and LAFOTE are described by Christian Ihle in the “taz” as the “next candidates for the new German indie/punk guitar wave”.. Various concerts in Germany follow and the band writes songs for the debut album. In February 2017 LAFOTE contributes a cover of “Truth is what is true” to the DIE STERNE tribute compilation. The song is getting a lot of attention, LAFOTE play in Hamburg in front of enthusiastic fans 800 Viewers in the opening act of DIE STERNE, Robin Hinsch's one-shot video for the song is a success. The momentum drives LAFOTE on a mini tour, about Kristof Schreuf in June 2017 writes in the “Young World”., that “Lafote, “an encouraging band”..

In November 2018 LAFOTE's debut album was released in October 2020 A split single with the Munich band FRIENDS OF GAS is released. But then comes Corona. The rock gets quieter. In the home office, punk becomes wave, The synthesizer can also be turned up loud using headphones. Then in the year 2022 finally concerts again. MPC LAFOTE plays in Hamburg and Berlin as support for Shatten (Ex-Findus). Despite the support slot, the hall is always dancing and the reactions are overwhelming. So the fire was rekindled. The plate was made in winter 2022/2023 written by MPC LAFOTE and JENS RACHUT and in the spring 2023 produced by TOBIAS LEVIN and JENS RACHUT.

Yella: It's the year 2013. Guitarist and singer Daniel Koch, Drummer Kirsten Kuke and guitarist Joschua Woischnik enter Hann. Münden, the rehearsal room at her school, to join the school band. Of course, they had no idea at the time, that they would still be making music together more than ten years later. They lost sight of the school musically for a few years, but after everyone had pursued their own projects, they found 2022 got back together and founded Yella. Since then they have played a few concerts and released their first single, Clouds. since 2024 They are supported by Jonas Wicke on bass.

Yella's music moves between melancholic indie and energetic alternative rock. Over time, Yella has matured and the lyrics and music have become more thoughtful and dark than in their carefree early days. emotional worlds, the passage of time and the seemingly unbridgeable distance between people are dealt with, but without losing hope. Most of the songs strive towards an outburst, which also discharges itself musically, through drums, relaxed or driving, flanked by grooving basses and cutting guitars with shimmering solos.

After various appearances in Kassel and the surrounding area, Yella are now ready, including at the Alio Loco and Stock Werk festivals as well as the first airtime at the Freie Radio Kassel, to record more songs and conquer the big stages of the small towns in Germany. Vocals/Guitar: Daniel Koch, guitar: Joshua Woischnik, Bass: Jonas Wicke, Drums: Kirsten Kuke.
