multiple daysRAW – dance works 2023 is the title of the dance organized by tanz*werk kassel- and Performance Festival in Kassel. It is the first of its kind and takes place from 30.10. – 05.11.2023. The festival offers the audience the opportunity to see dance pieces from both Kassel and various cities in Germany. Under the term RAW [raw /rɔː/: roh, rein, elementary, orginal, impulsive, unadulterated, naked, originally] pieces are shown, that specifically deal with the body, exhibit strong physicality and work on fundamental themes of contemporary dance and performance. are invited extraordinary artists:within, whose signature in cross-genre works reflects the necessary form-finding for socially relevant content, or gives contemporary dance visibility in Kassel by using public spaces.
