This March we invite the illustrator Alice Socal to Kassel, for her comic at Tuesday Tales "For how much longer" to introduce.
In her third book published by Rotopol, the artist describes the experiences of her pregnancies in a relaxed yet meaningful way. She organizes her doubts by combining text and image, Fears, Expectations and wonders of this special time. In the main roles: a cat as an alter ego, a dog as a friend and a seal as the pregnancy itself.
Alice Socal became 1986 born in Venice and began her studies in illustration and comics at the Art Academy of Bologna and completed them with Anke Feuchtenberger and Stefano Ricco at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg. She enjoys drawing short GIF animations for her Tumblr blog and lives and works as an illustrator in Hamburg.
Am 12. We start in March 19 Clock in studio oqela (Friedrich-Ebert-Strasse
97) with a reading. This will be followed by a workshop discussion with Alice Socal
takes place and there will be an opportunity for a question- and give a signing session. The entrance fee is 3€.
