Canteen at the University of Kassel
Dear colleagues,
you all know it and almost all of us suffer from it: Overload and a lack of prospects due to fixed-term contracts are a constant issue for the majority of employees at the University of Kassel. During collective bargaining 2021 The state of Hesse has agreed to talks with the unions on the topic of permanent employment and good work in science. These discussions take place on 17. January 2023 instead of.
Despite grandiose announcements in recent years, nothing has changed in terms of the massive temporary employment and chronic overload.
We are therefore calling for binding commitments to expand permanent employment prospects at Hessian universities. The unlimited initiatives in Hesse, together with ver.di and GEW, are calling for protest actions parallel to the talks with the HMWK:
