The Gee Strings are undoubtedly one of the outstanding '77 punk rock bands in Europe. Authentic, confidently and with high energy they snot their passionately 2 Minine songs through the speakers, always with the optimal dose of sex, Sweat and rock 'n' roll. Influenced by bands like the Sex Pistols, Heartbreakers, The Stooges und (naturally) den Ramones, the GEE STRINGS created their own, convincing rock 'n' roll influenced punk rock, who doesn't need to shy away from live international comparisons. Dirty ones, stirring songs, somewhere between Detroit and New York '74 and London 1977, crowned by the voice and the inimitable stage acting of singer Ingi Pop. since 1995 one overplayed 600 Live Shows in Deutschland, Belgium, Holland, of Switzerland, France, Italy and Spain, trat u.a. with Turbonegro, The Stitches, Antiseen and Dead Moon, toured and toured with the Buzzcocks and the Lurkers 2002 and 2003, under sometimes extremely adventurous circumstances, through Brazil. Ingenius Pop (not entirely without reason, she is often referred to as the German Joan Jett), who had already lost a vocal chord due to her 'rock 'n' roll lifestyle' and guitar junkie Bernadette (the black curly one 1,90 m appearance, rarely seen without a guitar) have been the core of the band from the start. Bernadette is also active with recordings and European tours for the US punk rock legends Sonny Vincent (ex – The Testors), Scott „Deluxe“ Drake (The Humpers) and currently busy with US garage rockers The Morlocks. With Alex from the Satelliters on drums and Spanish Dynamite Curtis, the Gees currently have a top rhythm team at the start.
