The Real McKenzies la 1992 von dem überlebensgroßen schottischen Punkrock-Poeten Paul McKenzie gegründete Band hat ein Vierteljahrhundert damit verbracht, den Globus zu umrunden und das McKenzies-Evangelium einer immer größer werdenden Schar von Rebellen, Taugenichtsen und Taugenichtsen zu bringen.
Es gibt nicht viele Bands, die auf eine fast 30-jährige Karriere zurückblicken können, die so abenteuerlich, stürmisch und todesverachtend ist wie The Real McKenzies.
