The Real McKenzies The 1992 Formed by larger than life Scottish punk rock poet Paul McKenzie, the band has spent a quarter of a century at it, den Globus zu umrunden und das McKenzies-Evangelium einer immer größer werdenden Schar von Rebellen, Taugenichtsen und Taugenichtsen zu bringen.
Es gibt nicht viele Bands, die auf eine fast 30-jährige Karriere zurückblicken können, die so abenteuerlich, stürmisch und todesverachtend ist wie The Real McKenzies. Es wäre ein großer Fehler, sie als eine weitere keltische Punkband abzutun (immerhin gibt es sie schon länger als die Dropkick Murphys). Sie sind ein unaufhaltsamer Moloch von Tournee-Chaos.
Eine wilde Truppe von wahnsinnig talentierten Spielleuten, Geschichtenerzählern und Entertainern, die traditionelle akustische und elektrische Instrumente zu einem unvergleichlichen Sound vereinen.
