Fast breaks, heavy synth bass and percussive violin action – UGLYDUB is a duo to watch, listen and freak out. Founded at the beginning of the decade, somewhere in between 140 and 180 bpm, The musicians and Berliners Judy Döhn and Helge Sorg combine their love for modern bass music with traditional instruments. On stage they mix liquid- and neuro drum&Bass with tricky halftime passages, everything packed into a high-energy non-stop live show with the character of a DJ set.
Since the beginning of their live presence, the duo has been steadily expanding their fan base and playing their way on the stages of clubs and festivals towards the top of the German DnB live acts. UGLYDUB are exciting like Noisia with live drums and experimental like a jazz combo at speed.
