Marbling /Ebru is a historical marbleizing technique with Japanese and Persian roots, in which floating colors are applied to a water surface, which creates delicate and organic microcosms, which are printed on a wide variety of substrates at any given moment: Papier, Textile, Glas, Objects u.v.m. The prints can then be further designed using different drawing materials.
In a playful and low-threshold creation process, different people can create fascinating visual worlds together. The surprising results of printing awaken the power of association and stimulate creative thinking.
The colored water surface or the painting machine from Dr. Gonzo is filmed from above and projected live onto the hemispherical surroundings of the cathedral or onto the chocolate oat factory. The projection can be transformed by participants with visual effects. This creates a dialogue between analogue artwork and digital processing.
