In this talk Leyla Lacin will talk about the project of democratic confederalism, is established in the currently realized and Rojava. The focus is on feminism and gender liberation.
The Democratic confederalism is a promising alternative model to today's nation-state construct. While the nation-state violence- and power structures includes, the Democratic confederalism works on the basis of:
1. grassroots
2. gender liberation
3. ecology
4. Criticism / self-criticism
Leyla Lacin has spent at least 9 Years active with the Kurdish freedom efforts and is organizing regular events for the purpose of raising awareness on this topic back. for more than 3 Years you conduct a reading- & Discussion groups on the Kurdish women's movement and the underlying the Democratic confederalism career of the Kurdish Freedom Movement. moreover, and has been for a little more than one year, It deepens works in the context of Jineolojî, the science of woman.
