Abortion is a human right! Disputes over reproductive rights in Kassel and beyond
Webinar organized by AStA Kassel and Feminism Unlimited Kassel.
Whether in the USA, Poland, Hungary, Italy, Austria or Germany - worrying alliances of religious fundamentalists and right-wing conservative to neo-fascist forces have declared war on reproductive and emancipatory achievements worldwide. Gynecologists increasingly have to justify this in this country too, to do their job; Funds for emancipatory projects are being cut.
We want to get an overview of the decades-long struggles over the right to abortion and take a look at actors and networks in Germany and Europe. Christian associations meet regularly in Kassel as well, z.B. at the "Rights of Life Forum" of the TCLG, to mobilize against the right to abortion.
