Am 19. July 2022 The Rojava Revolution celebrates its tenth anniversary. A historic project was able to develop in north-east Syria over a period of ten years. During the Spring of the Peoples, the people of Rojava were able to expel the regime forces from their homeland. The so-called Islamic State (IS) was repulsed by the Self-Defense Forces.
The people of the region are gradually building self-government based on the non-governmental concept of democratic confederalism. The three pillars of democratic confederalism, women's liberation, social ecology and grassroots democracy, are always kept in view and restructured in all areas of life. An alternative educational, health- and legal system was created. The right of all citizens to have a say, is ensured by the created communes and councils. This is the fight for solidarity for autonomous life, radical redistribution, ecological economy, gender equality and cultural diversity.Today we also live in times worldwide, where one crisis is followed by the next. In this context it is particularly important, to find alternative models of society. Die Rojava- Revolution can be a shining example for all of us.
We therefore want to 24.07 talk and celebrate with you about the achievements of the Kurdish freedom movement. Exciting lectures await you, seminars, workshops and discussions. We end the day with musical and cultural contributions and end it with delicious food and drink.
Our youngest are also taken care of, with child care and a bouncy castle.
Let's at the same time a sign of solidarity, Set internationalism and feminism.
