Am 8. March takes place on the first floor of the study building (Universitätsplatz 10) of 15:00 to 22:00 a feminist hangout will take place. The period is only a rough framework, in dem ihr kommen und gehen könnt, wann ihr wollt. Die Veranstaltung richtet sich an Frauen, Lesbians, inter, nonbinary, trans*, agender (FLINTA*) und queere Menschen.
Wir wollen einen Raum bieten zum Austauschen und kreativ sein – bei Kaffee, Tee, Kuchen und vielleicht Sekt. Bringt gerne auch eure eigenen kreativen Hobbies mit.
Wir werden auch eine Leseecke mit vielen interessanten Büchern über Themen wie trans* Feminismus und Dekolonialisierung vorbereiten. Außerdem wird es einen Space geben, in dem Kinder spielen können.
From 19:00 Uhr wird es ein offenes Mikrofon geben.
Es gibt einen rollstuhlgerechten Zugang und rollstuhlgerechte Toiletten (all gender).
Zur Transparenz: Wir haben einen dekolonialen Anspruch in unserem Feminismus, aber das Orga-Team besteht gerade nur aus weißen people. Wir sind ein Zusammenschluss von Personen aus unterschiedlichen queeren Gruppen in Kassel.

On 8 March we will be having a feminist hangout on the first floor of the Studihaus (Universitätsplatz 10) from 3pm to 10pm. That time span is just an approximate frame within which you can come and go whenever you like. The event is aimed at women, lesbians, inter, nonbinary, trans*, agender (FLINTA*) and queer people.
We want to offer you a space for exchange and creativity – with coffee, tea, cake and maybe sparkling wine. Also, feel free to bring your own creative pursuits.
We’re planning to have a reading corner with a bunch of interesting books on topics such as trans* feminism and decolonizing. There is also going to be a space for kids to play.
Starting at 7 pm there will be an open mic.
There is a wheelchair access and accessible restrooms (all gender).
For transparency: We have a decolonial aim in our feminism, but currently all people on the organizing team are white. The organizing team consists of people from differnt queer groups in Kassel.
