From 5th to 7th. June 2026 we are organizing the antimilitarism conference in Kassel 2026 – together with activists from left-wing organizations, Trade unions, Anti-war initiatives and social movements.
The conference will take place in the Vorderer Westen district center and Villa Locomuna.
As wars escalate around the world, is being massively rearmed and the militarization of everyday life is also progressing in Germany, we want to discuss together, analyze and organize ourselves:
- against war, Rearmament and conscription,
- against social cuts in favor of military interests,
- for international solidarity, social justice and climate justice,
- for building a new, strong anti-war movement from below.
Kassel is not a random place: As a central location for the German arms industry, we experience it firsthand, how militarization is expanded and normalized.
That's why we're bringing international and local activists this weekend, Scientists, Trade unionists and initiatives together, to develop perspectives and concrete strategies against war and militarization.
Included are, among other things:

- numerous union activists, Peace initiatives and local alliances
Workshops also await you, discussions, Cultural program, Film screenings, City tours, Information tables and networking opportunities.
The cost contribution is manageable (40 € / 10 € low earners / 5 € pupils/students/trainees), Day ticket for donation. Included in the price: entry, Essen, Theater, Child care, private accommodation via bed exchange.
