ARTHUR DEATH (Record Release Party): Arturo Muerte is a stickler for the old school. The modern sound of the general hip hop landscape may bring commercial success despite the technical losses, However, the Kassel rapper has been thinking about this for years, what he can do: Rapping and presenting the skills from the studio one-on-one on stage. His lyrics are inspired by his own experiences. Whether heartbreak, Social criticism or jokes about everything and everyone: He translates his mindset into verbal essence and does not take himself or other critical issues too seriously. Am 31.05.24 his new album ‘Arturito’ is released.
AL JACOBI (DK): The Dane Al Jacobi is the broken mirror, in which we see our true self. With his electronic singer/songwriter rap, he gives unspoken truths, that we all ignore, a voice. Beginning 2023 Al Jacobi went on a European tour 100 concerts in 100 days, and he will 2024 go on a European tour again. Al Jacobi is the only rapper in the world, who performs with the MiMU Gloves – a wireless one, Manage MIDI Controller, with which various parameters of the music can be controlled during the performance. Al Jacobi uses them for musical control and vocal manipulation as well as for audiovisual communication with the enthusiastic audience.
AIR FORK ONE: Air Fork One (37) is the organizer, Rapper, Producer, Creative all-rounder with a penchant for studio technology, Mix & Mastering, Photo, Videography and pretty much everything, anything that has nipples or buttons. Even though nowadays it is primarily producers and rappers who rely on his expertise and make use of his sound finishing and sound aesthetics or his artistic eye for proportions, Contrast and expression, he stays over 22 years on stages- and 25 years of studio experience, he is still an indestructible emcee, whether in the booth or live on stage. He graduated over 170 Appearances, mixed and mastered over 250 Albums and stays in Hesse as an unmissable underground luminary.
Most recently he released with MistaAwesome („Cuzzlefornya Luv“), with Tim Tam (Collective memory “With Zwille & Feder“) and with DaSchade (Messer & Fork “fillet pieces”), all digital and on vinyl. Of course, he didn't miss it on Arturo Muerte's new album either, to shine with a guest part on the mammoth feature. At the moment, Air Fork One, together with Franz Branntwein, regularly mixes a big dollop of cement onto the classics they have accumulated and, whether solo or in a double pack, brings you a concentrated load of old school with a master's degree instead of the unfortunately usual mix of kindergarten and special school these days.
BRIAN DAMAGE: “My last breath was delayed.” Brian Damage from Kassel became known as a battle rapper through the YouTube platforms “Don’t Let The Label Label You” and “Rap Am Wednesday”.. He successfully defamed his opponents in live battles and is considered one of the most accomplished MCs there. 2022 he has returned to music and spits lyrics full of morbid humor and social contempt onto the beat boards of his gang members Harry Crotch and Jay Turner.
