I Need To Be F*ing Kind – an exhibition project by Thomas Schmelzer & Donata Forrest Schmidt-Werthern & Langa Petz

*Reclaiming Kindness: Time, to linger. Space, to take up. Resources, to remain resilient.

*Reclaiming goodness: time, to linger. Raum, to take him. resources, to remain resilient.

The title of this exhibition project sets the framework. I Need To Be F*ing Kind can give rise to different interpretations – can take different perspectives – can touch on different topics. For us it is program. He accompanies our preparations, our resources and our relationship to what comes out of it.

Appropriate the place as an ongoing transshipment point, as a negotiation of space and surface between taking and having to make do. Play the place with a three-channel video installation as a love poem to that, what holds people together, of poetry and three ducks on the river.

These artistic works are accompanied and expanded by a, sometimes spontaneous, Program, a clothing market, of tea sessions and the exhibition library The Lingering Library of Kindness with publications, The text, Zines and show and talks from other artists:within.

Claiming the space and sharing it as a summer residence. Maybe you'll find the time to stay with us.
