BED is a band founded in Berlin by the Argentinian bassist Sol Astolfi and the Chilean singer Nicolás Astorga. After initial experiments and writing sessions, they invited the Berlin guitarist Ema Schiller, to join them. At its core, BED is a queer music project with a sound, the one in shoegaze, Rooted in dream pop and post-punk. The lyrics are sad and sexual, as they weave together threads of vulnerability and desire to create a work, that challenges normative creative expression. This is also evident in the vocals, that are intentionally gender neutral and represent a fluid identity. Inspired by musicians like Liz Harris (Grouper), Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine), Elizabeth Fraser (Cocteau Twins), Courtney Love (Hole) and Bowery Electric, the band combines iconic elements of the 90s with ambient and influences from the Berlin rave scene.

Sunveil was in summer 2023 was founded and stylistically moves between 90s shoegaze and modern dream pop with emo influences. Their sound is characterized by distorted ones, effects-laden guitars, driving bass and catchy vocals – melancholic, reverberant, a bit dark. After her debut single “Vanity Fair” and her first EP in February 2024 Their first album is now almost finished!
