The donut economy is a concept by Kate Raworth. She developed this concept, to visualize an economic system, that simultaneously meets social needs and maintains ecological boundaries.

Hanna Pohlmann is studying Global Political Economy and Development at the University of Kassel. She has an internship at the Next Economy Lab, NELA completed in Bonn. NELA has developed a method toolbox for municipalities based on the concept of the donut economy. Hanna is involved in the educational group of Karibu Kassel e.V.
