Ecstatic Dance Kassel

The focus is on conscious celebration – without alcohol, Drugs or other substances. The idea is to let the music guide you – whether alone, in a group or with eyes closed – everyone dances like that, how it feels right at the moment – ​​wild, soft, slowly or energetically.

The music at Ecstatic Dance is versatile and varied. A journey through different moods - from calm sound worlds to driving beats. Electronic sounds, World music, Tribal, Ambient and more merge into a carpet of sound, that invites you to immerse yourself and let go.

The space is designed to be safe and mindful, so that everyone can express themselves freely and unfiltered. It's about, to be completely with yourself, in connection with the music, your own body and the energy of the group.

Ecstatic Dance gives moments full of joy, Liveliness and lightness. It's an invitation, to let go of your head, to arrive in the body and be completely in the here and now – moved, authentic and lively.

How does an Ecstatic Dance work?? What are the guidelines at Ecstatic Dance Kassel?

process:

a 17:30h we open our gates for you to arrive. Um 18h schließen wir die Türen, so please be on time. Wir beginnen um 18h gemeinsam mit einem Eröffnungskreis. Afterwards there is a guided warm-up, that transitions into the dance. Afterwards there will be a finale and we will end the evening with a final circle together.

Bring along? – gemütliche Kleidung, Wasserflasche (eventuell Decke)

The intention & Guidelines:

Be present, no cell phones or cameras.

Be clear, no alcohol, no substances.

Be grounded, no shoes.

Be in your body, no conversations in the dance room.

Be open, do not judge others or yourself.

Be respectful, respect your space and that of others, nein heißt nein.

Achte auf dich, trink genug Wasser und mach Pausen wann du sie brauchst.

Weil wir alle sehr unterschiedliche finanzielle Möglichkeiten haben bieten wir verschiedene Preisklassen an. Wir wollen damit die Teilnahme einem breiteren Publikum ermöglichen und trotzdem die Arbeit, die dahinter steckt, fair bezahlen können. Du kannst dir selbst aussuchen, welche Kategorie du wählst, je nach deiner Situation und wie sehr du unsere Arbeit wertschätzt.
