egisson – German-language pop music with humor and depth. Concerts like in your own living room, very close to the audience on constantly changing stages: egisson is a music- and text producer from Leipzig. In various line-ups, he gives the audience insights into his verbal skills. 2023 he goes on tour, among other things. with Jonathan Kluth, Niklas Fischer and the Leipzig musician THEA KLAR.
This year egisson is going on tour with his single “Fledermaus”.. Artists usually go on tour with EPs or, ideally, new albums. “There is hardly any other song available at the moment, that I can play so freely from myself, like the bat.”, said the Leipzig artist. So why present a record on tour?, when a song is so honest and versatile in itself? Egisson goes both with a band and as a duo with the Leipzig musician THEA READY on tour.
Manuel Kluth is behind “egisson”.. The current composer and lyricist has been surrounded by music since his childhood. He has already put his passion for making music to the test in various styles - Jazz Big Band, Metal, Acoustic Pop/Folk, Indie/Rock… His project “egisson” has existed since 2014. In the same year he released his debut album “Salmon & Loritz“, 2017 followed by the EP “1:1 for me" . In December 2021 his second album “why not” was released, which he had produced as a vinyl album with the help of a crowdfunding campaign on the “Startnext” platform and has since been presented in various live sets.

South Music creates clarity, so it hurts, puts its finger in the wound and connects - sometimes accompanied by a versatile piano sound and specially played percussions and sometimes by a full band line-up with indie pop and songwriter influences.
