It was on a rainy day in the summer 2016, when a few Berlin punk rock fans met, to pursue their love of electrical noise together. Within a few weeks they had a program of songs about cheap wine, Autobahns in minds and Gerwald Claus-Brunner together, which they played in front of an audience for the first time on the last evening of the same year. In summer 2017 came a download EP. In the spring 2018 controlled Einkaufaktuell contributed a song to Banned in Germany II, their first vinyl release. In September 2018 The debut album Alles muss raus was released on vinyl and tape by the Karlsruhe-based Twisted Chords label, which was widely celebrated by the punk rock press. 2019 Her contribution to the double LP Ja followed, and the program continues… A new consistently DIY produced album came out in February 2023 bei Smith & Miller in Berlin. The stage has so far included Purchasing Current, among others. mit Protex, Garbage station, Cyanide Pills, Front and King Khan divided.
Practically speaking, the sound of Einkauf Aktuell didn't have to be planned in any great detail, but it came about all by itself. That the whole thing would be influenced by punk rock brand 77/KBD, was clear. The German-language singing then automatically pushes things towards German punk and the fact, that the musicians are all into Sixties Teen Punk, NDW and British post punk, couldn't be completely hidden either. They don’t want to reinvent the wheel, still drive on routes, that no one has ever been on before, But they have a very individual and unmistakable driving style, where they combine the sound of early punk rock with the themes of 2023, combine hair-raising poetry and typical Berlin use of synthesizers.
The name Purchasing Currently fits perfectly, because this great disposable press product has an extremely high punk factor. It is consistently without content, is printed and pushed onto everyone's eyes without asking, only for him to throw it away again. This is our fucked up culture in a nutshell, complete with non-regenerable packaging.

There's a spark in a rehearsal room in Kreuzberg in January 2021 huge between the long-time band musicians Carola, Uli and Lutz as Lutzilla sees the light of the band world. The result is music between proto-punk and krautrock with German lyrics, which is reminiscent of a time of sensitive proximity between punk and avant-garde art.
