Our partner circus Circo Fantazztico from San Isidro, Costa Rica, is in late summer 2024 on tour in Europe with her new piece „The language of the clouds“, which translated into German “The Language of the Clouds” is called. The show takes place on Saturday, the 21. 09. 2024 one 17:00 Clock in the Rambazotti circus house instead of (Ludwig-Erhard-Strasse 21, 34131 Kassel).
Captivating performances and touching stories – the story is about a curious child, that roams through a lively neighborhood and discovers the adventures of life. Inspired by the works of Costa Rican painter and poet Francisco Amighetti, This journey of discovery is woven into a profound circus theater piece. Acrobatics come together here, Dancing and juggling for an artistic performance, which not only entertains, but also reflects the depths of human life. The piece addresses the importance of dreams and freedom, to express your own creativity. “El lenguaje de las nubes” is a poetic and magical circus performance, which takes viewers on a journey into a world full of fantasy and emotions.
The Fantazzticos don't just impress with their show on stage, but also with his commitment behind the scenes. Through circus education as a medium of preventative work, Circo Fantazztico offers socially vulnerable children and young people, who grow up in the poorest neighborhoods of the region in the south of the country, a future-oriented leisure activity in a protected environment. The aim of the circus is to create a social community and a safe place, where young people spend their free time in a meaningful way, can spend their time in a positive and healthy way, by having physical artistic skills, and learn socially important values. For them, the Circo Fantazztico is the opportunity to make something of their lives through training, Talent and hard work to develop skills that they may be able to live on later. The group presents itself all year round at the national level and since 2007 with their first European tour also on an international level.
