Dear feminists in Kassel,
we're glad, to be able to invite you to the first feminist assembly!
It is time, for more exchange, acting together, for more solidarity among us. Whether organized or isolated, we look forward to your coming!
The following will roughly happen at the General Assembly:
0) Arrive from 13:30
1) Open microphone:
We know, that many of you have damn important things to say. There should be room for this. Own experiences, Wishes, Opinions can be shared here. We ask you the question: “How do I want to fight feminist in Kassel?”
If you like, likes to prepare short statements of maximum 5 Minutes ago. So we have a good starting point for further discussions.
2) Projects and further discussion in a small group:
Some have already reported us back, that they are looking for allies for specific projects. That is why we would like to meet in smaller groups here, in order to concretize exactly that or to continue discussing what has just been heard in a more relaxed atmosphere.
3) All together:
Of course, there also needs to be a large-scale exchange. We want to have enough time, to discuss with everyone together, how feminist things should continue in Kassel. We don't have to have huge expectations for this. Afterwards, everyone gets to know each other a little better and has heard from each other, That's already a big step.
We use the sports field, so that sufficient distance and corona claims can be guaranteed. PS: And, also (Cis-)Men certainly often see themselves as feminists. But this event is not yet the space, to bring this together. Here we remain autonomous among ourselves.
