The first part deals with the system of converting living space into corporate property. Banks, Funds and international investment capital are pushing into the cities. Housing is a public service and a human right. But politicians seem to be completely abandoning their obligation to provide care. Social housing construction has been dwindling for decades in the service of private investors, despite billions in subsidies.
