In Majdanpek in Serbian, a culture, The historically known for magical practices and supernatural beings, destroyed by an ever increasing copper mine. The pollution is so serious, that she even drives the kite, who supposedly live in the forests. The documentary tells of these conflicts between nature/tradition and industry/modernity based on the life of a family.
The film screening is part of the series of events “The Green Transition and its costs for the Balkans” in May in Kassel, Berlin and Frankfurt.
