19:00 - 20:30
District center Wesertor, Kassel
Kevin, a retired police officer, was spat on and shot at while on duty. He believes, that anti-discrimination activists are stuck in a victim mentality. Afeni, an activist, finds, that the American police protect the wealthy and oppress people in poverty. Are Afeni and Kevin enemies or future friends??
No solutions are sought here for the major problems of our time. Afeni and Kevin get closer to each other, but will not resolve the conflicts between police and activists. Why? Because their solutions would be rejected by them, who do not share their experiences. So what's the point?, that two people, who see each other as enemies, meet and talk to each other?
These conversations don't end, when people have changed their minds, but if both can say: I was understood – completely, fair and unadulterated.
This is the moment of emotional transformation for those involved. Even more important: It is the moment of emotional transformation for many in the audience.
We warmly invite you, to follow Afeni and Kevin's change of perspective together and to exchange ideas about it -
at the movie night Tuesday, 17. March 2026, one 19:00 Clock

About the Enemies Project:
Each episode of the documentary series “Enemies Project” brings together two people with completely opposite worldviews. Violent conflicts are inevitable. But “Enemies Project” is neither sensationalist television nor a political debate. the aim is, that the “enemies” discover the humanity in each other - because in a warlike world, understanding is synonymous with rebellion.
