The music theater piece “Hey Püppi” is about a sex doll, which frees itself from her role and pursues her destiny, To become a crash test dummy. She loosens from the man, who had it built and follows her own dreams and needs. In doing so, she defies capitalist and patriarchal structures - confirmed by a new friendship.
The heart of the piece is the music of the Dresden band “Gránátèze”, consisting of Alma Weber and Anni Schröder. Together with puppet player Carlo New Year's Eve and the Kassel artist Joey Arand, they accompany Püppi on their trip.
