Am 16.07.2022 it's time: Solo artist Ben McArthur releases his album HYBRID.
Ben's first release since 2018 became in winter 21/22 created and is thematically based on Hesse's classic DEMIAN von 1919. It's about the way out of the protected shell (das hey) towards the departure into the big world, the exciting, but can also be dangerous. From parental home to adventure. From the known to the unknown. And these two worlds always seem to contradict each other…
Musically it goes into a hybrid sphere, that combines modern metalcore with electronic elements. This is how the so-called arises here “Hybrid Metal”, who also gave the album its title.
On Saturday Ben will present the album live. Then we look at the music video for the song DEMIAN, which we worked on together with kollektiv Eigenklang for the first time.
