“The houses them, who live in it” – Live self-organized and work in solidarity in collective structures … for newbies
Every three months the Info-Café is the starting point for existing house projects in Tenement House Syndicate in North Hesse, of course, especially for anyone interested, who want to start a new project or are interested in the syndicate. In this open round there is space for your questions and ideas about new house projects, that you would like to build up with a group in the North Hesse area. Together with active members from the existing syndicate projects (currently four projects) and the syndicate advisors for North Hesse, we talk to each other and give each other tips for the first steps.
Initial consultation steps are possible as part of the info café. The exchange of knowledge between old- and new projects as well as advice are an essential part of the idea of the rental house syndicate. The advice is free of charge and should help people to help themselves.
You can also come as an interested individual, however, it will unfortunately not be possible in the Info-Café, To actively refer people looking for accommodation to existing house project groups. So if you want to join an existing group, then please write to them directly or send an email to Syndicate counseling North Hesse and we forward it.
Tenement House Syndicate – self-organized, solidaric, payable
Common ownership of the house and land, affordable living space even for people with little money, Room for groups, political initiatives, Cultural projects and whatever else we like: these ideas represent that Tenement House Syndicate for over 25 years. About 160 self-organized house projects are currently combined in the nationwide association, from the smallest project with 6 People up to very large housing projects 260 Residents. There are also independent offshoots in the Netherlands and Austria, among others.
