Bad Kitty: Unconventional live cover rock from Kassel – across music history
Bad Kitty… these are two guitars tuned lower, a growling bass man from heavy metal, fat drum sounds – and deliberately no keyboards.
Six musicians – with a total 172 Years of experience in various genres, and really in the mood for rock...
The two powerful-voiced women Anja and Marion are enthroned in the front.
Bad Kitty... stand for massive rock classics from all decades.
From the Beatles to Queen and Michael Jackson to AC/DC and Iron Maiden, everything is there.
The kittens particularly enjoy playing hard rock versions of interpretations of 80s synth-pop hits!
Bad Kitty… opinionated, cheeky – incalculable...

SIXTIES, ROCK ‚N‘ ROLL & MORE
We, these are:
SIMONE (Drums) aus Zwehren
DIRK (Tasten, Saxophon, singing) aus Niestetal,
MIKE (Bass guitar, singing) aus Wattenbach
Die Musikgruppe Scara Brae derives its name from the neo-lithic cult site of Skara Brae on the Orkney Islands. The oldest Neolithic site found, older than Stonhenge or the Pyramids of Giza. The choice of name has a special meaning for the band. As one of the cradles
European culture, as a link between Scottish and Central European life and as an expression of culture, Joy of life and connection, this name is a homage to the mystical Highlands of Scotland. Now one might expect, that Scara Brae makes Scottish folklore with typical instruments such as bagpipes or fiddles.
No.
Alexander Marnie, born in Edinburgh is a real 68, played with well-known musicians of the 60s in Scotland and helped shape the emergence of rock music as a cultural contribution beyond the country's borders. As a young man, he played with musicians from the Kinks and The Who and toured as far as Germany in the Frankfurt area. Through his travels to the Near East, Afghanistan, India and Nepal, Through his life in Buddhist temples and with Buddhist lamas he found his faith in Buddhism. Alexander Marnie writes the band's songs, Songs with soulful lyrics in the tradition of 1968 folk songs, like Crosby Stills&Nash, James Taylor or Paul Simon. The members of the band were all musically influenced during this time, have gained extensive experience in various music groups and styles or are completely new to making music on stage. The band tries the flair and sound of the 68s, to bring the mystical touch of Woodstock to the audience. Great emphasis is placed on polyphonic singing. ” Free your mind” or ” Sweet Marie” are little musical touches of awe, To bring charity and respect for mother nature into the hearts of the listeners. Scara Brae are not a party band or a cover band. Scara Brae is quiet, emotional and unique.
