Climate referendums like that “Climate change Cologne” do it all over Germany: Through direct democracy, local initiatives can switch off gas-fired power plants, Build cycle paths or convert public utilities to green electricity – and thus make climate protection concrete on site, while local politicians are still writing their climate protection papers. We would like to bring all those who are curious together in one weekend, who want to know more about Radentscheid, green electricity- or to experience heat desire. Because this summer takes place the first “Climate change from below”-conference held! from 10. to 12. th we will create a space for networking in Kassel – for a weekend everything will revolve around our climate referendums.

We are all the more pleased, cordially invite you to our climate change weekend! During the weekend we set up many opportunities in addition to content-related workshops, with other climate referendums about experiences, Exchange tips and tricks. Also the successful citizens' petitions “Kassel coal free”, “Goodbye coal Hamburg” and other climate change initiatives will be there. Perhaps you too would like to, to take part, to take the first steps for your local group or simply to be inspired!
