concert: Smokin’ Sound Quintett

The jazz band from the Waldecker Land is presenting its original arrangements with idiosyncratic solos and individual sound for the second time in the Sandershaus. With some of their own arrangements of classics from the 60s and 70s, the Smokin ‘Sound Quintet brings pieces to the stage, which are known not only to jazz specialists. In the meantime the guys try their hand at funky from time to time- and jazz rock titles like “Poultry Guest” by Les Hooper or Jaco Pastorius’ “The Chicken”.
