Christmas eve 1997 The thug trio Speed Chicken took the stage for the first time and have been on the road non-stop ever since. Hank always pushes the two Steffens to breakneck performance on the bass and at the shooting gallery (if not outrageous depths).
Countless sweaty concerts throughout the country and in neighboring countries created a chicken fan base, Europe's in "Speed Chicken Racing Team" (the official fan club) is organized. By the way, the most prominent member of the fan club is the unforgettable Dennis Hopper, of the band 1999 met at the “Elvis Of Kassel Award”..
Several CDs and vinyl discs are available. The three-man, high-octane sound crosses leg-shaking country rhythms with high-speed hot rod trash.
