They were one of the hottest bands from North Hesse in the 80s – SUPERSTITION!
For almost ten years they toured the clubs and halls of the Republic with their powerful and rousing funk'n'roll. Then it was over. They parted amicably and turned to new projects. Since then, the musicians have been seen in various local bands. The seven musicians were more than ready for a birthday surprise 20 Years later, suddenly in the practice room again. It quickly became apparent, that the entire program came out of the instruments almost intact - and was just as much fun as before.
SUPERSTITION is now back on stage regularly! With mostly their own songs and their own style: Rhythm-emphasized grooves with rocking guitar attacks and Stephie Helbig's expressive lead vocals - unmistakable in this combination - just funk'n'roll. Songs by Chaka Khan are also played, Mothers Finest and others. But always in SUPERSTITION's own interpretation.
