Bit ugly, a bit rancid. But beautiful. Projection surface for one's own existence and emblem of social deviance. The shabbiness screams in your face. But who is shabby here? – Tauben come from Hamburg and do something like wave punk. They hurl razor-sharp ones at the willing listeners, cynical and often funny text fragments, to jagged, punky strumming rhythms, who accomplish the small work of art, to stimulate thought as well as dance. Everything according to the motto: Better to have a pigeon on the roof than a sparrow in your hand!

The band Klara Geist, which is rooted in the North Hesse music scene, consists of the powerful trio Konstantin Walde (Drums), John Müller (Bass) und Max Amling (Guitar and vocals). With their unique blend of hard, rhythmic sounds, which are reminiscent of the American punk bands of the late 70s and early 80s, and more melodic, Pop influences from the alternative rock of the 90s, they create a distinctive sound, which sounds both nostalgic and refreshingly new.
