AIdan Baker is a workhorse. According to the Internet, during his long career he has approx. 250 Sound recordings published. He plays a variety of exciting genres such as space rock, Shoegaze, Ambient, Drone, Post Rock, Dark jazz and noise. But he is also not averse to the folk genre. This time he is with the Slow Core Band Tavare visiting us. Slow Core is characterized primarily by calm tones, beautiful melodies and a high level of emotion. Simple, Repeating themes lull the listener. You get caught up in a gentle pull and can hardly escape the beauty of the accompanying singing. At the end you stand in a fog of sweet melancholy and forget time and space. Tavare understand their craft. Their expertise can be seen very clearly on the debut album that has just been released „To Small To Be So High“ recognize, which they just recorded in one go before a gig at the Genezareth Church in Berlin Neukölln. The result is simply breathtaking. The natural reverb of the church enhances the pleasant atmosphere of the songs enormously and captivates the listeners for a long time, until the last sound has escaped from the speakers. Then the sun rises and a smile spreads across everyone's faces. So come in large numbers and don't miss this musical experience! A must for fans of Low, Codeine, Red House Painters, Bedhead.

Tonflation will prepare us for the Tavare gig with his fine neo-classical compositions. A special magic was felt during my first concert. The audience sat as quietly as a mouse on the floor and listened to the fine melodies. A gentle thumping and roaring accompanied the very pleasant sounds of the electric piano, which floated through the air as light as a feather. Meanwhile, at the bar, the drink bottles were being uncorked with silenced bottle openers and Niemensch said a word. Nowhere else can you experience French-language instrumental songs with such sublime grandeur. A great band! It's not for nothing that we affectionately call Tonflation's music Piano Crust.
