Crash / Mono (Electronic / Noise Rock)

Sandershaus, Kassel

“Gravity Sucks” is the name of the band's third album Crash from Berlin. Ralf Küster (bass and guitar) and Claire Caspar (Drums and vocals) celebrate energetic noise rock at their shows where no foot stays still. Noisy guitars make the heart beat faster, the driving drums push forward. And then the plane takes off and you forget all the worries of everyday life for the moment. Always higher and faster, Just don't look down – everything will be fine. A little later, when the cloud cover is broken through, the world shines in the bright glow of the sun! Fans of bands like Sonic Youth, Wipers or Shellac really come into their own here. Dead Can Dance auf Speed, Ennio Morricone on cloud nine or Siouxsie Sue in the endurance run – you name it. Pack dancing shoes, Come by and take off is the motto of the evening!

The Kassel band Mono supports the crew in the flight tower with driving electro beats and booming bass lines. Janis monitors the technology and turns all the controls while Chanti shows the staff the way. Everything must be well prepared so that the Great Whale can take off. Maybe rockets will be fired too, you will see it. The band's debut album can be found on Bandcamp.
